CHIP-PY is excited!

Big Boy

Chippy is keen these days to eat at the table with us instead of in his high chair. So, one night we did just that. Here is our first attempt at eating at the big table. Not too bad ... but I think we'll stick to the high chair for now!

Bug bite?

When Chippy was picked up from daycare yesterday, mommy was informed that he was bitten. By a bug? No, by a KID! Ever wonder what damage a little mouth full of new teeth can do? Look no further!

Accident Report #4 (?)
Scraped elbow on Friday didn't warrant a report!

And then ...

...we were off to the cottage! Here we had our first full ice cream cone, bought a street-toy bike, and generally played all day every day! We didn't want to go into the water though. The closest we got was an intertube in the bath tub.

Daycare Closed!

With daycare closed for two weeks it was off to the grandparents! First stop was to the south. On our way, Chippy decided it was time to expand his vocabulary from the lonely 'a bus'. In a short period of time we have a very clear 'hat', 'car', 'daddy' which morphed into 'datty', 'apple', 'bubba', 'cow', 'mooo', 'bye', 'hi', 'hot'. Each one he has associated with what it actually is. He can also shake his head 'no' to almost any question you ask him. 'Would you like a cookie' is the only thing that gets a smile! Is it bedtime? or Would you like to finish your veggies? get clear 'no' shakes!

Chippy helping out around the place! First he takes on a little gardening - then he washes the car!

Oreos??

Flipping through the pictures on the camera, Mummy came across this picture ... Mummy doesn't remember giving Chippy Oreos ... Daddy??!! Maybe that's why Chippy knows Dada but not Mama!!

I'm ready!

This is how Chippy puts his helmet on when we're going for a bike ride! 100% of the time he puts it on backwards!
