Chippy had a dentist appointment today where he managed to get one tooth cleaned! They confirmed that all molars are in - so now Chippy has to start flossing. We went to the grocery store after his app't and Wee M and Chippy sat together in the buggy. Can't say it was a resounding success, but no one was crying when we left!
Chippy's favourite toy right now is his scissors! He uses them every day, usually telling me 'I'll be right back' before going to get them out of his drawer. He uses them to cut practically everything he can - from cereal boxes to cardboard boxes, to food, to colouring books. He also likes to have a knife with his dinner. He is the official cutter for Wee M's food - cutting her grapes and other fruit into smaller pieces. He's not much into sharing with Wee M right now. I've asked a couple times recently if he'd share his little elf snack with her and eventually, if she's lucky, he'll break off a teeny, tiny little corner and say that it's for her. :)
What is better than seeing the wonder and excitement on the face of a 2 year old at a Santa Claus parade? Chippy was probably more excited to see a fire engine than he was to see Santa!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh....to regard the world with such a belief in magic!! These are the most fun years when they are so filled with excitement, beginning to understand all these wonderful holidays!! I love the "movie" of this, as Ann is right... you can't capture the same sense of wonder with a still pic.
