Here is Chippy, waking up from his first nap in his nearly new Thomas bed!  To this day, I don't think he realizes he can get out of bed by himself without waiting for us to come get him!

Ansel 'Chippy' Adams

Chippy was fascinated by the camera tonight.  After we taught him how to use it, these were his first photos!

Proud Brother

Chippy is a proud big brother!! Lots of kisses and hugs!
He often points out baby's car seat and clothes
and will bring things to her  :)

Chippy has really changed in the last few weeks ... he is able to communicate really well with us - letting us know when he's hungry or thirsty and telling us what it is that he wants.  He jumps around like crazy and has fun going 'boom' on the couch cushions.  Some of his favourite things are 'snowmun', 'car-rot', 'Tho-mus', 'painting' and 'baby'.  He has started to string together three words and can count to seven (missing five on most occasions) and can identify how many of something there are .. up to three.  He loves to count to three to turn on the Christmas lights.  His hand-eye co-ordination is really good - he can hammer a plastic nail like no one else!  He plays really well on his own, reading and playing with his Wow toys.  He can understand most of what we say to him, until we say no, at which point he gets a mischievous look on his face and continues what he was doing.  At daycare they said that he's the first person to do something when they say not to!  Overall, he's certainly growing into a wee man.  Sitting around the dinner table now feels like sitting with three people as opposed to two and a baby!

Curling

While mom was home with the other one on Saturday morning, Dad took me to the curling at the K-Rock centre.  I liked clapping for the shots and identifying rock colours!

Krispy Squares

Yesterday we made rice krispy squares with the intention of making them into santa claus faces ... however, mom and dad seemed to think there was something wrong with my mood, so they put off the decorating until today!  :-)
