He insisted in vacuuming all by himself, so finally I relented.  He vacuumed for about an hour and did the entire downstairs!!

This boy is just loving drawing and colouring right now.  I'm sure labelling is not required, but I will label them anyway...

The only way we helped was by suggesting adding a nose or mouth etc. to Chippette's pictures.  The boat he did all by himself without us even around!

Blue Feet

Annual blue feet / hand pictures.  I was surprised that Chippy had as much fun as he did.  I was pretty strict with the rules during this, and he still did a great job!

Creating a Monster

I am creating a monster!  I found an app for Chippy to try and he loves it!  He needed a little help to get started and then he was able to navigate through counting, choosing colours and shapes, and playing concentration.  Interestingly, he created a strategy to concentration all by himself - he'd choose the first card and then the card after.  If that didn't match, he'd choose the first card and then the card second over.  He continued like that until he found a match.  Pretty smart for a little kid!

Now I just have to train him to keep grubby fingers off the iPad!

This boy drew a picture of Mickey Mouse at Disney World and Brenda posted it on the door of the big house!

Questions for a 3 year old!

Snow Maze

Arriving home from our Christmas festivities we had a LOT of snow!  Daddy and Chippy made a snow maze in the back yard today.  We also went sledding in the park where we pulled Chippy up and over snow drifts a zillion times.  Wee M was kept to being pulled on the level sidewalk!

... and we continue with the theme of fire trucks and vehicles.  I don't imagine there is another 3 year old out there that had a better Christmas than Chippy!

At Christmas 1 Chippy got his cherished hook & ladder fire truck!  Chippy was quite pleased ... lots and lots of vehicles ... now all he needs is a parking lot!

Disney Characters

I completely did not see this coming ... Chippy LOVED meeting all the Disney characters!  Amazing given he really doesn't know who they are and they were so big!!  (and note to self for future years ... this was the PERFECT time to go - hardly any lines at all!)

First Airplane Ride

Chippy slept most of the way there and back which made for a very easy airline passenger!  Even with the delay on the way there, he loved the whole experience.

Happy 3rd Birthday!

On Chippy's birthday he was picked up early from school so we could have a birthday party with Grammy/Pa!  Chippy had the most fun cutting ribbon with his scissors instead of actually opening the presents.  He received lots and lots of books for his Birthday, including the Polar Express.  A Bread & Butter chocolate cake rounded out the night - per Chippy's instructions!

Bowers Christmas 2012

Bowers Christmas 2012 has got to be one of Chippy's happiest days ever!  How to compete with Thomas time with Colin, serious train time with Uncle Jim, a Kubota tractor just like Pa's, 5 chocolate covered marshmallows, kazillions of Ruthie/Buck gifts, and crazy times with Lucie well past his bedtime!!??
