Yesterday, while out grocery shopping, I came across a pack of mesh feeders for babies. I had read about them before, and heard lots of good things about them, so decided to give it a try! The idea is that you can put food in the mesh bag, and the child can feed themselves by mouthing on the food through the bag. It can also work for frozen food when Chippy starts teething.The verdict -- an overwhelming success! I put mango and banana in it today and he completely devoured it! He cried when he had finished it - but he also cried when I tried to take it away to replenish it!
All that was left was some stringy bits inside the bag. Well, that and juice all over his hands, face, clothes, seat, tray, floor, dog ....
