When I picked Chippy up at daycare I saw pictures of the staff letting the kids eat with their hands. So, that was it. We started giving Chippy free access to his food. His beef stroganoff is now emptied into a bowl and he 80% eats it with his hands and 20% tries to eat it with his spoon. At breakfast this morning he ate a whole container of apple sauce with the spoon all by himself! Here are some pictures from the past 24 hours.
Clever boy! Today, a spoon, tomorrow chopsticks!! And just think...when the weather gets a bit warmer, you can take him into the backyard and hose him down after meals!!
ReplyDeleteBy the look of how big he is getting, against these pictures, it would appear that he is growing by process of osmosis........absorbing the nutrients through his skin!!! He's a lad who really "gets into" his food!!! Too cute!
